Over twenty years of the Duluth Bridal Show!  We were originally called Wedding Day but changed the name a few years back because of a conflict in names with a jewelry store chain.

It's hard to believe that some of the Brides-to-Be that came to our very first show over 20 years ago could conceivably be here this year starting the planning process for their daughters or sons wedding a few years down the road! 

But that's what time does!  Over those memorable years I've even had my oldest daughter plan her wedding right here (happily married and now the mother of two wonderful boys!)  It would not be right if I didn't acknowledge a very special person that helped me start this event and was so instrumental in organizing it during the early years, the late Carolyn Russell.  She was a joy to work with, a great organizer and brought the all important female perspective to the very foundation of the Duluth Bridal Show.

We've certainly grown from our start. The first show we had about 40 booths and were packed into Paulucci Hall at the DECC.  As we grew we moved to the City Side Convention Center, where we were the first trade show ever held in the Lake Superior Ballroom.  As we outgrew the ballroom we came to expand to the location we presently occupy today!

We home you get as much or more out of the Duluth Bridal Show as the first group of brides in 1989.  Congratulations on your engagement and all of us wish you many happy healthy and prosperous years together!
